Spray Pre Treatment Line

Before initiating any surface finishing process, the components/parts/articles have to be cleaned and pretreated. The cleanliness of the surface of the part is of decisive importance to ensure optimum painting quality. The pretreatment processes are individually designed and planned depending on the requirements of the substrate. Pre-Treatment Systems are normally used for high production facilities where number of different components or jobs need to be pre-cleaned and then sent for Surface Finishing like, Liquid Painting or Powder Coating or Zink Flake Coating. Life of a component basically depends on how clean is the component before it is being sent to surface finishing, in addition to this a coat of phosphate needs to be given to the product for better adhesion of paint and the component, thus these type of plant or systems are also known as Phosphating Plants.Pre-Treatments are divided to two main streams Dip Pre-Treatment Plants and Spray Pre-Treatment Plants; the setup for such pretreatment system is as per the requirement of the production. If the production is low then it is suitable to go for a dip pretreatment system or a dip Phosphating plant and if there is very high production quantities then it would be beneficial to go for a spray pretreatment plant.

Before coating, component's Pre-Treatment & Washing are fundamentally necessary for high quality & long lasting coating. In Pre Treatment Process, we do degreasing to remove the dust, dirt, oil & grease and de-rusting to eliminate rusting from the components. In Spray Pre-Treatment with Overhead Conveyor System the parts are been organized on a rightly designed jigs or fixtures at separate specific space and pitch and hanged on a overhead conveyor. The conveyor chain passes through a large tunnel divided into number of stages of chemicals and water zones carrying the components at specified speed, to achieve desired cleaning of the parts. The overhead chain remains outside the pretreatment tunnel and only the jigs and parts come in contact with the chemicals & water.

Spray PT Line with Clip on Nozzles and SS Risers & Headers are built & designed in such a way that the chemicals and water are passed through a series of piping and finally sprayed over the components with the help of spray nozzles. The pumps and spray nozzles create a high pressure and velocity of spray to create an impact on the product to enhance the cleaning process. Stages like degreasing , hot water cleaning and derusting are normally been kept in multiple stages to achieve maximum cleaning.
